Taka a quick peek on Hyflux Water Trust

I’m trying to explore new potential stocks for investment…even out of Malaysia.

I came across this company called Hyflux Water Trust, it has been published in last two issues of TheEdgeSingapore as their 10 stock picks. It got features in this week issues of TheEdgeMalaysia as well! Seems duplicated content huh…

It caught into my eye as it’s main business is involved in water waste management, same as Salcon (one of my current top pick). Based on my understanding, Hyflux is also have great involvement in China.

China is the main recovery source of financial crisis that hit us since 2008. With its numerous expansion potential and high development pace, water waste management is a must.

Salcon mainly engaged in secondary cities of China, I’m not sure about Hyflux, thus, decided to take a look on it.

It’s share price has been moving sideway since Oct 2009, currently around S$0.60-S$0.70.

With a wider eyesight, we can have a better understanding on our investment portfolio, hope that I’m doing an apple to apple comparison, who knows may be we can identify another great company for investment.
